However, there are still three issues in the development of electromyographic engineering technology, namely the global standards for electromyographic technology, the price of electromyographic products, and the recognition of electromyographic products by application end customers. How to face and solve these three problems is related to the future positioning of electromyographic product enterprises and their success or failure in competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yu Wenlong, General Manager of Shenzhen Runyi Taiyi Technology Co., Ltd., stated in an interview with Daily Economic News that currently, high-end electromyographic products in the domestic market are mostly monopolized by foreign brands. The direction of domestic substitution not only needs to start from cost, but also needs to be superior in new materials and application technology innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Non innovative high-density electrodes are expected to replace traditional needle electrodes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>EMG signal is a physiological electrical signal generated by the human body during movement, which contains rich information about human movement and essentially comes from the body&#8217;s own neural signals. The use of electromyographic signals as an interactive medium to construct human-computer interaction systems has natural advantages, therefore electromyographic engineering technology is also considered the most promising direction for the application of neural machine interfaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are two main methods for collecting electromyographic signals: needle electrodes and surface electrodes. Needle electrodes, as an invasive method, have been developed earliest and are currently the standard for diagnosing muscle related diseases in clinical practice. However, inserting needle electrodes into human muscles can cause pain. In order to alleviate the pain of patients, surface electrodes were subsequently developed, but this method is difficult to replace needle electrodes as a diagnostic measure. To solve this problem, high-density surface electromyography electrodes have been developed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taking the collection of electromyographic signals from a hand clenched fist as an example: when the brain generates a movement intention, the movement instructions are sent to the motor units that perform the action through the nervous system. The motor unit includes motor neurons and the muscles innervated by them, and is the basic unit that generates movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Needle electrodes, due to their invasive nature, can directly obtain motor unit information as a basis for diagnosing muscle diseases. Although surface muscle electrodes can obtain motor intention information, they are difficult to restore motor unit signals. However, high-density surface electromyography signals can be restored to motor unit information through signal decomposition algorithms. &#8220;Yu Wenlong, General Manager of Runyi Taiyi, said in an interview with reporters that, in terms of this characteristic, high-density surface electromyography electrodes are the only technology that has the potential to replace needle electrodes in a non-invasive way and become the clinical diagnostic standard for surface electromyography acquisition methods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding the differences between traditional surface electromyography acquisition systems and high-density surface electromyography acquisition systems, Yu Wenlong frankly stated that it is not simply a matter of device stacking. In this process, many engineering and technical difficulties need to be solved, especially as the number of channels increases, the difficulty of solving problems also increases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, Runyi Taiyi has developed and validated multiple wireless high-density acquisition systems ranging from 32 to 256 channels within the existing technological framework. Runyi Taiyi has done a lot of research and development work in the miniaturization of the system and the collection of physiological signals during exercise, in order to facilitate the use of application end customers and meet the needs of physiological signal collection during exercise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Technological advantages accelerate the process of domestic substitution for electromyography applications<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is reported that Runyi Taiyi has currently developed multiple underlying technology modules with electromyography acquisition as the core. From the perspective of technological innovation, the advantages of fabric electromyography arm rings, distributed wireless electromyography acquisition systems, and wireless high-density electromyography acquisition systems are obvious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>RT-R5008 (Eight Channel Fabric Arm Ring) is independently developed by the company and can collect eight channel electromyographic signals from the surface of human skin. It is used in scientific research, sports and fitness, rehabilitation medicine, VR&amp;AR and other fields. Compared to its competitors, the main technological advantages of Runyi Taiyi fabric armband lie in its conductive fabric and wearable design for clothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yu Wenlong introduced that the production of fabric electrodes has a technical threshold, and fabric electronicization technology is a cross product of textile and electronics fields, which can be called electronic fabrics and is the foundation for the future development of smart clothing. Fabric electrodes belong to dry electrodes, which can achieve signal acquisition effects similar to metal electrodes while avoiding the influence of sweat on signal acquisition and providing comfort. &#8216;Electronic fabrics&#8217; may become a promising branch of flexible electronics<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The distributed electromyography acquisition system consists of eight modules, filling the gap in similar products in China. It is reported that the system can obtain maximum information about human muscles during exercise within a limited number of channels. Combined with the nine axis gyroscope, it can be applied to more application scenarios, especially in the field of hybrid control, which improves the accuracy of motion tracking and capture in the system. It takes into account both electromyography and inertial sensors to obtain motion information, improves the accuracy and stability of distributed system motion recognition, and reduces the cost of implementing motion tracking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The high-density wireless acquisition system mainly includes 64\/32 channel electromyography, electroencephalography devices, and software systems. It has active shielding technology combined with multiple weak electrical signal detection technologies to achieve high signal-to-noise ratio signal acquisition and dual-mode EEG signal acquisition in sports scenes. In order to meet the demand for wearable devices, the device adopts a miniaturized design with a volume of only half the size of a smartphone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cost advantage provides guarantee for the development of domestic electromyography engineering<br>In addition to technological advantages, Runyi Taiyi&#8217;s cost advantage has also become a highlight in the industry, providing strong support for the development of domestic electromyography engineering. Reducing the cost of using electromyographic devices for users and expanding the application scenarios of electromyographic products is a key step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yu Wenlong introduced that &#8220;one of the bottlenecks in the development of electromyographic engineering is the high price of electromyographic products&#8221;. Thanks to the mature upstream and downstream industrial chain supporting advantages in the Pearl River Delta, Runyi Taiyi can provide products and after-sales services at more competitive prices and faster speeds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Specifically, in the field of electromyographic armband products, Yu Wenlong stated that as the production process matures, costs will further decrease. At present, the main cost is concentrated on the labor cost of producing elastic fabric arm rings. In the future, further improving the degree of automation can effectively reduce production costs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is reported that in the field of distributed wireless electromyography acquisition systems and high-density wireless electromyography and EEG acquisition systems, Runyi Taiyi can also provide highly competitive prices compared to imported products, achieving the same technical performance at 50% to 60% of the price of imported products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the current business model of Runyi Taiyi, there are both B-end and C-end customers. In the future, we will cooperate by selling electromyographic modules or products, and will do our best to reduce the cost and price of electromyographic modules, striving to provide partners with the best quality products at the most favorable price. Domestic leading companies in rehabilitation medicine, smart wearables, virtual reality, etc. are all potential customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, Yu Wenlong stated that in the future, efforts will be made to increase the promotion of C-end technology, and to work together with partners to promote the implementation of electromyographic engineering technology in sports, rehabilitation and
